Refund Policy

Thank you for your purchase at The Official Register of Color Names Store. Your satisfaction matters to us — and our refund policy is deliberately generous and simple.

1. Your 90-day cancellation right

You may cancel your order within 90 days of the purchase date (the date your order is completed), without giving any reason. Upon cancellation:

  • the registration of your Color Name in The Official Register of Color Names is removed,
  • the dedicated web page for your color is deleted,
  • the issued Color Certificate is no longer valid.

2. How to request a refund

Send us a clear statement that you wish to cancel, together with your order number, using our contact form. That's all we need.

3. How refunds are processed

  • We process your refund within 14 days of receiving your request.
  • The refund goes to the same payment method you used for the purchase (card or PayPal).
  • There are no fees or deductions for refunds.

4. Refunds we initiate

We will also issue a full refund, without you having to ask, if:

  • your order is cancelled because a product was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error, or
  • your chosen Color Name cannot be registered under our naming rules and no suitable alternative is agreed.

5. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. For EU consumers: the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases is fully covered by — and exceeded by — our voluntary 90-day cancellation right.
